How does working together go?
Everything by WhatsApp and email, during your working hours; phone calls only if you like. You see every interim version and say what should change. Contract and invoice in German or English, prices in euros.
How soon is my website live?
Usually within 7 working days, counted from the day we have all your content. Revision rounds are free and can take a few days. Automations often run on trial within a few days.
What are the running costs?
In the subscription everything is in the monthly fee: staying online, web address, mailbox, upkeep and 1 hour of changes per month, your site is backed up, and after 3 years you can have it completely refreshed. If you buy, you decide: with us, the site runs with upkeep from €39.95 per month, up to 1 hour of changes included. With a provider of your choice, we set it up there with you and help you for the first month, and you pay for the web address and mailbox directly there. After that you add the upkeep from €39.95 per month if you need it.
Who owns the website and the web address?
Your text, images, logo, web address, mailboxes and Google profile are always yours and in your name. You receive all login details in writing. If you buy, the structure and design are yours from day 1 too. In the subscription they are part of the monthly fee, and after the first 12 months you can buy the website for a fixed amount. If we stop our service, it becomes yours free of charge.
Will my website go offline during the move?
No. Your old site stays online while we build the new one on a preview address. We only switch once you have approved it. The switch usually takes a few minutes, and the old site keeps running in the background for a few more weeks.
Will I lose my place on Google?
Honestly: nobody can guarantee that every single position stays exactly the same. What we do so nothing gets lost: your web address stays the same, every old address redirects to the matching new page, we register the new site with Google and watch for errors in the first weeks. Google itself says that permanent redirects do not cause a loss. Short fluctuations in the first days are normal and settle down.
What happens to my email?
It stays reachable. Email and website run separately, so we can move the website without touching your email. If you want to bring your mailboxes to us, we copy the old emails first and only switch once everything has arrived. You keep your addresses.
My site is on a site builder. Can it be moved?
Not one to one. Site builders like Wix, Jimdo or Squarespace do not allow a complete export; that is the same with all of them. So we rebuild the site, as a subscription or a purchase: we take over your text, images and structure, and your web address comes with you. For you this means: same address, new site, no downtime. You only cancel your old contract once the new site is live.
What if Zeitprisma is no longer around one day?
Then your website is yours. If we stop our service, we transfer all rights to your website to you free of charge, also in the subscription. Web address, mailboxes and logins are in your name anyway, and you can get your content as an export at any time. So any other provider can keep your site running.
Does AI do anything without my knowledge?
No. Only what you set as a rule runs on its own, and your business writes it to your phone. A quote, a yes or a no wait for your tap. Everything is logged, and you can switch the AI off at any time. Where your data is kept, we put in writing beforehand.
What data does the AI see?
Only what you give it: the single enquiry or the one contract, not your whole archive. What exactly the AI may see, we agree beforehand and write down. Which provider that is and where the data is kept is in your contract.
What if I do not understand tech?
Then you are in the right place. You explain your business, we turn it into a website and routines. Nothing to install, nothing to set up; at the end you get a short guide.
How much of my time does it take?
It starts with a message from you, on WhatsApp or by email. Then your yes to the quote and your content: text, photos and opening hours come from you, we do the rest. You look at interim versions whenever it suits you.
What is on the invoice?
An invoice in euros, with no VAT on it, as is usual for services from abroad. Your accountant reports your country’s VAT and usually reclaims it in the same return; for most businesses it nets to zero. Exception: small businesses under the VAT exemption threshold and practices that cannot reclaim VAT pay their country’s VAT on top.
